I was very privileged as part of this year’s Sydney Writers Festival and my role as book reviewer on Linda Mottram’s Mornings program on 702 ABC Sydney to get the chance to interview author Patrick Ness. The Crane Wife is one my favourite books so far this year and was one of the most moving books I have ever read. Patrick is best known for his bestselling Chaos Walking trilogy. He is a two-time winner of The Carnegie Medal and his book A Monster Calls is the only book to ever win both The Carnegie Medal and the Kate Greenway medal and is a book I would highly recommend to readers of all ages. I spoke to Patrick at the ABC studios in Sydney:
